Thorough assessment and correction of my spinal issues. Absolutely recommend for everyone
Feel so much better and have more movement in both my neck and back and the headaches I used to get frequently have reduced.
Love this place! Jake and Seb are great professionals when it comes to posture. I suffered from a shoulder pain I couldn’t even sleep. Sessions with Seb helped me not only to get rid of the pain but to fix the initial issue with posture which was causing all problems. The whole atmosphere there is so aesthetic and warm which is a huge plus for me🤍
I've been seeing Sebastian for treatment the last couple of months following a minor car collision and he has been very helpful so far, although my pain levels are still high there's so much more movement available for me, I'm very pleased with my progress. Sebastian is very personable and professional, he has good knowledge and shares lots of helpful lifestyle tips and homework exercises. Really happy with my treatment so far and would really recommend him. I'm looking forward to getting back on track in the near future with Sebastians help. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming, even the pooch is warming to me.

HOW DOES
Chiropractic Work?
Chiropractic treatment engages with the nervous system, focusing on the spine and nerves, to restore balance and ease throughout the body. Whereas conventional healthcare methods focus on alleviating pain, chiropractic focuses on treating the root cause of the problem, using a holistic approach that allows the body to heal itself.
The aim of a chiropractor is to ensure your spine and other joints have unrestricted movement, a balanced posture, and no undue muscle tension. This means the body can function correctly, allowing it to adapt and cope with the stresses and strains of daily life.
When it comes to the health of your spine and joints, a chiropractor is the best health professional to get you back on track.

Chiropractic Adjustments - What to Expect
Adjusting the spine, also referred to as spinal manipulation, is the classic form of chiropractic treatment. Our chiropractors use precise adjustments to the affected area of the spine to restore movement and function. Chiropractic treatments can be adapted for the individual patient to cater for their age, requirements and needs. Whether gentle, low-force adjustments or more deep structural adjustments.
It is perfectly normal to feel and hear a clicking or popping sound with a spinal adjustment. This is purely air in the joint being displaced with the movement. It is rarely uncomfortable when performed correctly and most people feel immediate relief and benefit from treatment

CHIROPRACTIC
For Wellness
Chiropractic is one of the best ways to keep your spine and body healthy, in a totally natural way.
We all benefit from having a healthy, properly functioning spine and nervous system. So having chiropractic treatment solely for wellness purposes can insure your body stays at its optimum.
Those under regular chiropractic care realise how effective it is to keep them well and at their best.
Evidence shows that regular maintenance visits can be effective at preventing recurrence of back pain.

CHIROPRACTIC
For Pregnancy
Pregnancy involves many changes to the body including the softening of ligaments, increase in weight and changes to posture. This can create additional pressure on joints, particularly in the spine or pelvis.
We love seeing and treating expectant mothers at Innate Health.
Frequently Asked Questions
A chiropractor is highly skilled to detect and correct issues in the spine and joints that alter our bodies ability to function well and maintain a state of health. Chiropractors focus on the nervous system and its ability to regulate our spinal health, muscle tension, posture and joint motion. Chiropractors train at Masters level for 4-5 years at university to understand expertly how the body functions. They also learn a multitude of approaches to help people recover their health and live better lives.
By analysing the skeletal frame, paying particular attention to the balance of the pelvis, the shoulder girdle and the head-on-neck relationship, chiropractors are able to find patterns of stress in the body. These stress and tension patterns accumulate over time and can be the result of injury, habitual postural stress such as sitting at a desk, stress related to our mental and emotional health, and biochemical stresses from toxins in our diet and the environment. These accumulated stress patterns alter our posture, muscle tension and ability of our joints to move well. These changes can lead to pain and degeneration over time.
Chiropractors use adjustments to correct these imbalances. Adjustments can be done in a variety of ways and adapted to the person’s needs, and most often involve a quick gentle thrust to the spine or other joints to loosen restricted and misaligned joints. Chiropractors may also use rehab exercises and stretches to compliment the adjustment.
Chiropractors treat misalignments and imbalances in the spinal column that affect our ability to function at our best. These imbalances can present themselves in many ways, manifesting as back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder issues, pains in other joints like the knee and ankle, muscle tension and an inability to relax, disc issues such as a disc prolapse or hernia, and sciatica. Rather than treating the symptoms, we look for the root cause by assessing your posture and spinal movement.
Chiropractors and osteopaths tend to see the same type of issues and both are exceptional for helping people get well. Chiropractors tend to focus more on the health and function of the nervous system, whereas osteopaths tend to focus more on the muscles. Nowadays there is a lot of crossover and there are more similarities than differences. The important thing is to find a practitioner who has honed his craft and made it his or her mission to become exceptional at what they do.
Chiropractic is a very broad profession and there are many different ways to adjust the spine. A good chiropractor will have learnt different techniques and approaches that he can utilise depending on the client and their particular issues.
Chiropractors see patients all the time who come with sciatica. Sciatica is a general term that refers to pain that runs from the pelvis down the leg and often to the calf or foot. Strictly speaking, sciatica is where the large nerve (the sciatic nerve) that runs from the pelvis down the leg, gets irritated, often as a result of a disc hernia, or muscle tension in the buttock area. In the majority of cases, chiropractic is an excellent treatment option.
Back pain is the most common reason for visiting a chiropractor. Back pain is most often the result of a misaligned or restricted pelvis and lower back. These imbalances can pull our muscles tight and lead to further changes that affect other areas, like the mid or upper back, neck, hips and legs.
Chiropractors have always used the honorary title Doctor, or Doctor of Chiropractic. We are not medical doctors and Chiropractic is a well defined speciality in its own right. All Chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
We don’t stipulate a specific dress code as all our assessments and procedures can be done fully clothed. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that isn’t restrictive. You will need to remove your shoes, belt and jumper. We have gowns available if necessary.
Chiropractors treat some sports injuries depending on the nature of the injury and where it is. If you are unsure, contact us to see if we can help.
The cost of a Chiropractic visit can vary, generally ranging from £40 to £50, with the initial consultation usually costing a bit more. The price may reflect the location and the level of service involved. Generally speaking, you are not paying for the length of the session but the skill and expertise that that chiropractor offers.
Chiropractic is incredibly safe. We are trained to know when it may not be suitable to adjust someone in certain instances, in which case we can refer you to your GP and request some imaging like an x-ray or MRI.
When searching for a good chiropractor, a word of mouth recommendation can be very useful. Be sure to check out their website and the google reviews. The chiropractor will be more than happy to answer any queries you may have.

My journey into health and wellness began with a passion for sports like basketball, volleyball, football, and weightlifting, which taught me the importance of strength, teamwork, and perseverance. I was first introduced to Chiropractic when I saw how it helped me recover from a serious injury and it got me back to peak performance. That experience lit a spark in me, and I knew I wanted to help others in the same way.
In 2018 I graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a Sports Science degree before I graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2023. As a chiropractor, my focus isn’t just on relieving pain—I’m passionate about helping people understand their bodies and take charge of their health.
Chiropractic care is all about keeping the body in balance and supporting overall wellness. I enjoy teaching my patients how to take care of their spine and adopt healthy habits, so they can feel their best every day. My goal is to inspire people to live healthier, more vibrant lives, and to make a lasting, positive difference in my community.’
